All-Members Annual Meeting via ZOOM from 7:00 – 8:30 pm
Tuesday, January 14th.
The Zoom link, copy of bylaws, and the meeting agenda will be shared in your registration confirmation email.
We will present the new MPSI bylaws for your approval at the meeting. These new bylaws, the product of two years of hard work by our Restructuring Committee in collaboration with Jenn Urban, our lawyer, will allow MPSI greater freedom and flexibility in providing the kinds of programming you have come to expect.
The new bylaws have been written with an eye to the future. They are more democratic, less bureaucratic, more inclusive, and more efficient and bring us into compliance with MPSI's legal and financial reporting requirements.
The current MPSI Board enthusiastically and unanimously approved the new bylaws and organizational structure. Heidi Holste, our Executive Director, will send you a copy next week. Copies were also sent out on November 15th. If you can, look them over before the meeting.
Nick Flier, Past-President of the MPSI Board of Directors and a member of the Restructuring Committee, will summarize key elements in the new bylaws and will facilitate a discussion. Then we will vote on whether to accept them.
We hope you will see the wisdom in this new direction. We need you to participate and hope you will vote YES.
