Clinical Moments with Kirby Ogden

The Clinical Moments series features members of our analytic community presenting clinical experiences that illustrate what can be learned when we look closely at the intimate encounter between therapist and patient. Each presenter will have their own topic and approach. We may follow a single session in which the therapist is faced with an urgent situation and needs to decide what to do next. Or we may explore particular challenges such as an unexpected enactment, an affective storm, intense countertransference feelings, dealing with deadness, or being stuck or situations where the treatment itself seems at risk of being destroyed. Each Clinical Moments presentation will include discussion and offer opportunities for attendees to share their thoughts and ideas.
