"People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built."

Community Services

Get involved

The Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society is committed to offering services to the broader community. The Society believes that the kind of insight afforded by psychoanalysis can benefit the community in many ways, especially as people strive to reflect on their inner and outer worlds, and make changes in both.

The MPSI Psychotherapy Center offers low-fee, long term psychodynamic psychotherapy to underserved populations, who are either without health insurance or unable to utilize their health insurance due to financial constraints.

The Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society also offers free, one-time, on-site training to organizations in the community through the Traveling Psychoanalytic Seminar  program. Please contact Nancy Lawroski for details.
