Working together toward change, I place importance of the relationship with you in the therapy and emphasize getting to know you as an individual. We work toward your goals by exploring, not just your behavior, but the underlying feelings and thoughts which get in the way of your ability to make the changes you desire.

I understand that efforts focused primarily on changing a behavior don't allow for an understanding of you as a whole person. Individuals have their own unique history which needs to be valued and understood in the process of change to help you to develop new confidence.

I have worked with Children, Adolescents, Individual Adults and Couples for over 30 years. My private practice includes, but is not limited to therapy for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, attention problems, eating disorders, and problems interfering with success in personal or work relationships. I also provide supervision to professional social workers.
