"The actual relationship existing between the patient and the analyst as persons must be regarded as in itself constituting a therapeutic factor of prime importance."

Lasting change occurs over time as you begin to understand yourself more fully. I work with men and women who struggle with low self-esteem, find themselves replaying self-defeating behaviors, or have difficulty forming satisfying relationships. At some point in our lives, we all bump up against issues we cannot resolve on our own. In order to see our patterns and consider new perspectives, we need the help of an expert with a different vantage point. As a therapist, I help people understand their struggles in new ways and move toward creating a happier life.

I believe a relationship where you can talk about yourself and your life in un-edited ways is the basis of a helpful therapy. With this safety, we can understand your experiences and identify ways to move toward growth and empowerment.

The process of therapy is not easy and takes courage, but it is also extremely rewarding. I welcome the opportunity to talk with you about working together.
